Henry Baker, a Polling Station chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Simpa, has expressed strong optimism about the party's political future, despite the major defeat it recently suffered in the general elections.

Speaking in an interview with Adwenpa FM, Baker maintained that the NPP is far from finished and will return to power in 2028.

He disclosed that residents of Simpa were disappointed by the NPP's failure to secure a third consecutive term, laying blame at the feet of the party's leadership for not properly steering the political agenda.

According to him, the loss has sparked reflection and conversations within the grassroots of the party. "After the significant defeat, people in Simpa held our leaders accountable.
