Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia leads the pack of preferred candidates to become the next New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, according to new survey data breaking down preferences by political party affiliation.
The survey, conducted by research agency Africa Policy Lens, found that 51.5% of all respondents across the political spectrum would vote for Dr.
Bawumia if they were NPP delegates.
He is followed by former Assin Central MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, who secured 36.3% nationwide support.
