The United States Embassy in Ghana has cautioned individuals, particularly visa holders, against breaking or violating the country's laws.

According to them, any acts committed by visa holders that violate the laws of the country could have serious consequences and could jeopardise their future opportunities.

In a Facebook post on Monday, June 23, 2025, the US Embassy in Ghana disclosed that offenders could have their visas revoked, face deportation, or lose eligibility to apply for or hold US visas in the future, advising holders to respect the rules that come with their visas. "Breaking US laws can have serious consequences for your visa.

If you are arrested or violate any laws, your visa may be revoked, you may be deported, and you could be ineligible for future US visas.
