Spokesperson for the jurors, Joshua Alorgbey, has disclosed that they are considering petitioning the Office of the Attorney General over delays in the payment of their stipends, which has led them to embark on a strike action.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Alorgbey lamented the lack of communication from the Judicial Service regarding the delayed payment of allowances for over eight months, and their failure to engage with the jurors at the Accra High Court. "We have still not heard from the Judicial Service.

We are still waiting to hear from them, so we advise ourselves.

We wanted to approach the Attorney General, he might be aware, though, but we wanted to visit his outfit and, if possible, take it further. "That is what we are considering now.
