The Founder and leader of the International God's Way Church, Bishop , has taken a swipe at former (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, , claiming his presidential ambitions were influenced by pastors and not personal conviction.
During a sermon to his congregation on Sunday, June 15,2025, Bishop Obinim alleged that Agyapong never originally intended to run for the presidency but was pushed into the idea by members of the clergy. "Quote me anywhere never had the idea of becoming president of this country.
It was the pastors that said it to him, and he realized he wanted to become president.
If he knew that earlier, he wouldn't have done a lot of things," Obinim claimed.
