The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has announced major revisions to data bundle packages offered by Ghana's leading telecom operators.   These changes, which take effect from July 1, 2025, are the result of negotiations between the Ministry and the chief executives of MTN Ghana, Telecel Ghana, and AT Ghana.At a press briefing held on June 10 at the Ministry's Complex in Accra, Sam George outlined a series of changes aimed at improving value for customers while helping telecom companies manage their operational demands.

According to the Minister, MTN Ghana - which holds Significant Market Power (SMP) status - will see a 15% increase in all its current data bundles.

However, this comes alongside a return of a previously popular offer. "I'm pleased to announce the restoration of the 399 Ghana cedi bundle, which currently has been changed to the 350 cedi bundle that offers 92.88 gig will henceforth be reinstated to 214 gig for 399 Ghana cedis," he said.

AT Ghana and Telecel Ghana will also revise their offerings.
