The First Lady of Ghana and Founder of the Lordina Foundation, Lordina Mahama, has made a heartfelt appeal to individuals living with chronic non-communicable conditions, encouraging them to take advantage of the "MahamaCares" initiative when it becomes operational.
This program aims to provide support and access to medical care for those in need.
According to a recent report by citinewsroom.com, she said this during a free health screening event for over 145 retired Assemblies of God ministers and their spouses held in Accra, where she explained that MahamaCares, officially known as the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF), was designed to address health service gaps that are not fully covered by the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
Lordina Mahama gave a clear message that no one should suffer in silence.
