General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has issued a strong message to members of the party, warning against disloyalty and personal ambition that undermines the collective strength of the NDC.

Speaking during the party's 33rd anniversary commemorations, Kwetey criticised what he called a growing trend of "convenient membership," where some individuals view the NDC merely as a platform for political gain, rather than a movement rooted in deep ideological values and loyalty. "The reason why some of them are in this party is because there is a vehicle that will win elections for them.

So then it means that we have many among us who have become convenient members of our party and some of these convenient members even have the audacity to want to aspire for the leadership of this great party.

How dare you?" he urged.
