Minister of Defence, Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, has facilitated the construction of an asphalt overlay on the internal roads of Pope John Senior High and Minor Seminary in Koforidua-Effiduase, Eastern Region.
The road improvement project, which comes ahead of the school's upcoming 67th anniversary, has significantly transformed the campus environment.
Headmaster Rev Fr Benjamin Opoku Ohene last year appealed to the government to rehabilitate the deplorable roads in the school.
Once riddled with potholes and in a deplorable state, the school's road network now boasts a smooth, durable surface, ensuring ease of movement for students, staff, and visitors alike.
