Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, has demanded clarification on the scope of the warrant secured by the National Security that authorized the raid on the residence of the former Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr.
Ernest Addison.
The legislator, who is also a lawyer, questioned the Interior Minister - under whose supervision the National Security Secretariat operates - whether the scope of the warrant extended to searching personal items such as refrigerators. "Honourable Minister, I would like to confirm from you - and perhaps for the sake of public education - you indicated that the National Security secured a search warrant.
May you educate me on the scope of that search warrant?
