The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has discredited a purported medical report suggesting that former Finance Minister, Mr Kenneth Ofori-Atta, is medically unfit to travel.
The office has stated categorically that it has not received any such report from Mr Ofori-Atta or his legal representatives.
The disputed document, dated 14 May 2025 and purportedly signed by Dr Ahmed Abdalrhim, an internal medicine specialist with the Section of International Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA, surfaced online today, Tuesday.
It explains Mr Ofori-Atta's inability to honour a scheduled meeting with the OSP on 2 June 2025.
