Everyone has a story to tell - a journey that begins with humble roots and rises through perseverance and purpose.

For Kofi Okyere Darko, widely known as KOD, that story is one of transformation, grit, and grace.   The renowned media personality and current Presidential Adviser on Diaspora Affairs opened up about his personal journey during the official launch of the Despite Automobile Museum on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

The event, held in East Legon, Accra, attracted a distinguished gathering of royalty, former presidents, political leaders, and prominent figures from business and entertainment.Among the high-profile guests were His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who officially commissioned the museum, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, NDC Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, Nana Kwame Bediako (Cheddar), businessman Ibrahim Mahama, and members of the East Legon Executive Club.

Clad in an elegant long-sleeved lace shirt, white trousers, and polished black shoes, KOD stood out not just for his fashion but for the powerful memories he shared.
