The lawyer for Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has provided fresh updates on his client's detention-clarifying his health status and outlining a key legal obstacle delaying his release.
According to Lawyer Appiah Kubi, Wontumi is in good health and is receiving full attention while in custody.
Speaking to the media as sighted by MyNewsGh, the NPP stalwart assured the public that there was no cause for alarm regarding the politician's wellbeing. "So he is receiving attention.
He is wholly good, he is wholly healthy and there's nothing to worry about in respect of his health," he said.
