Corporal Dunstan Guba of the Ghana Police Service has secured a silver medal, finishing in 3rd place at the INTERPOL Digital Security Challenge 2025, held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The intense three-day, non-stop Capture the Flag (CTF) competition brought together elite white-hat hackers from the law enforcement sector across over 60 countries.

Corporal Guba expressed his pride in representing Ghana and the Ghana Police Service, highlighting the opportunity to demonstrate the country's offensive and defensive cyber capabilities in the fight against cybercrime on an international stage. "I was honored to have represented Ghana and the Ghana Police Service and demonstrated our offensive and defensive cyber capabilities in fighting cybercrime on an international stage," he wrote in a Facebook post.

The Digital Security Challenge, a prestigious event aimed at enhancing the skills of law enforcement personnel in digital forensics and cybersecurity, tested participants' abilities in a simulated environment.
