The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has issued a directive to former Finance minister , demanding that he presents himself at its headquarters on Monday, June 2, 2025.

The OSP warned that failure to comply with the summons will result in severe consequences.

In a statement on Sunday, June 1, 2025, the OSP cautioned that should fail to honour the summons, he will be reinstated on its list of wanted persons and officially declared a fugitive, according to a report by citinewsroom.com.

It added that it would initiate processes to issue an INTERPOL Red Notice, which could lead to his international arrest and extradition.
