In an age where social media has become a powerful space for fans to connect with celebrities, it has also evolved into a breeding ground for bullying, harsh critiques, and unsolicited advice-especially for musicians, actors, and other public figures. For Ghanaian singer Gyakie, navigating this digital pressure cooker has meant learning how to guard her peace and remain focused on her purpose.Speaking with Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM's Showbiz A-Z, the "Forever" hitmaker, born Jacqueline Acheampong, shared that while she remains active online, her approach to handling social media commentary has changed dramatically over time. "I just learn to appreciate what I feel is right because one person will say 'I don't like the way your hair is always shorter', another person will say 'I don't like the way your hair is long'.
So it's like what do you want me to do?
I am going to do what I feel is right or what I feel my audience is going to enjoy," she explained.
Gyakie admitted that earlier in her career, she allowed harsh criticism to weigh her down.
