The (GHS) has confirmed 10 new cases of Mpox, bringing the total number of recorded cases to 19.
This update, shared on the official X page of the GHS on Monday, May 26, 2025, indicated that five of the confirmed cases are currently on admission, with no fatalities recorded so far.
The GHS has urged the public to observe strict personal hygiene and avoid sharing personal items. "To reduce your risk, avoid close contact with symptomatic individuals, maintain proper hand hygiene, and refrain from sharing personal items.
If you develop a rash or feel unwell, seek medical care promptly," the update stated.
