The Volta Regional Police Command has announced significant progress in the investigation into the robbery and murder of Christopher Ahordor, a mobile money (MoMo) vendor in Aflao, with the arrest of eight suspects, including a father and son duo.
The latest arrest, on May 18, 2025, involves Happy Sewordor, 65, believed to be the father of Michael Sewornu, 34, who was arrested earlier in connection with the crime.
Christopher Ahordor, aged 27, was fatally shot during a robbery at his shop in Gbagblakope, near the Diamond Cement Factory in Aflao, on April 28, 2025.
The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m., and the robbers fled with an unspecified amount of money from his daily sales.
