Member of Parliament for Akyem Swedru in the Eastern Region, Kennedy Nyarko Osei, has explained that President John Dramani Mahama was not fair when he described the economy bequeathed to him by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government as criminally managed.
He cites Ghana's gold reserves as of May 2023 under the previous administration as his basis of his criticism of the President of Ghana.
To him, the government must be fair in its description of the previous government because some feasible gains were made that need celebration rather than condemnation.
Kennedy Osei, who made this position known in a post shared via social media, said the current government could only add a paltry 2.46 tonnes after being in government for six months.
