New ECG board can ensure improvement - IPP Boss Chief Executive of the Independent Power Generators Ghana (IPGG), Dr Elikplim Kwabla Apetorgbor, has expressed confidence in the newly appointed Board of Directors of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), describing it as capable of turning the company around.

In a statement, Dr Apetorgbor praised the Minister for Energy and Green Transition for what he called a well-considered decision. "I wish to commend the Minister for Energy and Green Transition for the thoughtful and strategic composition of the Board of Directors of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG)," he said.

According to him, the inclusion of a "diverse, competent, and experienced team reflects a clear commitment to addressing the deep-rooted challenges facing ECG and repositioning the utility for long-term sustainability and improved service delivery." He gave special recognition to the newly appointed Board Chairman, Ing.
