Deputy General Secretary of the (NDC), Mustapha Gbande, has described the tragic military helicopter crash at Sikaman in the Adansi Akrofuom area of the Ashanti Region, which claimed eight lives on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, as a moment of sober reflection and national reckoning.
In a statement issued on Thursday, August 7, 2025, he said the loss of the 8 lives in such a manner was shocking. "We acknowledge the heavy toll we have faced.
Eight brave souls have been lost, taken from us in a manner that feels both unreasonable and shocking.
This tragedy is not one that will be forgotten quickly", he noted.
