Operatives from Ghana's national security apparatus on Thursday, May 15, 2025, conducted a surprise operation at the residence of former GIHOC Distilleries Managing Director Maxwell Kofi Jumah to retrieve state-owned vehicles reportedly still in his possession.
The operation, which occurred around 5:00 a.m., took place while Mr.
Jumah was reportedly absent from the premises.
Sources say the former government appointee, who served under ex-President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's administration, is under investigation for alleged financial impropriety during his tenure at the state-owned distillery company.
