President John Dramani Mahama has re-nominated four Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) in Accra.
The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs announced the re-nominations in a press release dated May 15, 2025, signed by the Minister, Ahmed Ibrahim.
The decision aligns with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936), as amended.
