As previously shared by MyNewsGh, Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will begin a two-day state visit to Ghana starting Tuesday, July 2, becoming the first Indian leader in 30 years to do so.
The visit is expected to strengthen the long-standing ties between the two nations.
As part of his itinerary, Prime Minister Modi will meet President John Dramani Mahama, engage with Parliament, and witness the signing of several bilateral agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) across key sectors.
At the heart of the visit is a high-profile ceremony where Ghana will confer its highest national honour, the Order of the Star of Ghana, on Prime Minister Modi.
