An Oncology Nurse Specialist at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Naomi Oyoe, has been named among the top ten finalists for the 2025 Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award.
The prestigious award, which received over 100,000 nominations from 199 countries, was instituted to recognise outstanding nurses based on their dedication, leadership, and contribution to healthcare in their respective countries.
According to graphic.com.gh, Oyoe was selected alongside a Kenyan, Khadija Mohamed Juma to compete with other healthcare professionals from different parts of the world.
The overall winner of the 2025 Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award, to be unveiled at a grand ceremony on May 26, 2025, takes home a whopping $250,000.00 cash prize in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
