Renowned investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has shared his thoughts on the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) internal leadership debate, suggesting that Vice President Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia is a more unifying and respectable figure compared to outspoken former legislator Kennedy Agyapong.

In a Facebook response to a follower, Adwoa Serwaa Nuamah, who had likely defended Bawumia, Manasseh expressed his view on the qualities each potential flagbearer brings to the table.

While admitting he may not agree with Bawumia on all issues, Manasseh praised the Vice President's tolerance, clarity of thought, and respect for both the party and its opponents. "I may not agree with him on everything, but he exhibits tolerance, clarity of thought, and respect for the party and outsiders," Manasseh stated.
