The cold-blooded murder shocked the nation and set off an eight-year manhunt that culminated in the arrest of the prime suspect, Michael Owusu Ansah, alias "Baby Last," on April 2, 2025.

According to police reports, the robbers demanded that two receptionists lead them to guest rooms to rob patrons.
