A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Legal Communication Team, Victor Kwadjoga Adawudu, has described Sammy Gyamfi as a "victim of generosity" in the wake of public backlash over a viral video showing him handing cash to evangelist and former fetish priestess, Patricia Asiedua Asiama popularly known as Nana Agradaa.
Speaking on Channel One TV's Breakfast Daily on Monday, May 12, Adawudu mounted a strong defence of the embattled Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), stating that the criticism directed at him was both exaggerated and politically charged.
The controversy erupted after a video surfaced online capturing Gyamfi in what appeared to be a personal moment with Nana Agradaa, during which he handed her an undisclosed amount of foreign currency, reportedly in US dollars.
The footage, which quickly spread across social media platforms, raised eyebrows among the public and drew criticism from political observers.
