In a bid to revive the vision of Ghana's first President, Osagyefo Dr , for industrialisation and to rejuvenate Ghana's manufacturing sector, President has pledged to bring this dream to life through his government's 24-Hour Economy Policy.
According to President Mahama, the policy, launched on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, forms part of strategic initiatives aimed at unlocking the economic potential of inland Ghana.
He announced that the government plans to acquire 2 billion hectares of land for intensive agriculture under the Good24 programme, which will mobilise all sectors, from religious, security, academic, to civic, as part of efforts to enhance national productivity.
President Mahama also unveiled plans to establish agri-industrial parks focused on textiles, pharmaceuticals, and food processing.
