The Executive Director of Transparency International Ghana, Mary Awelana Addah, has called on President John Dramani Mahama to go beyond optics and issue a firm directive, particularly targeting public officials who have yet to declare their assets.

She said this would be a meaningful demonstration of the government's commitment to transparency and accountability.

Her remarks follow the emergence of a viral video showing the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, handing over an undisclosed amount of U.S.

dollars to former fetish priestess-turned-evangelist, Patricia Oduro Koranteng, widely known as Nana Agradaa, during a public event.
