Ghana's Electoral Commission has announced that there will be a rerun in some selected polling stations in the Ablekuma North Constituency.
This was contained in a statement issued by the commission on July 2, 2025.
According to the EC, after an extensive deliberation, the commission informed the political parties that it will proceed with a rerun of 19 out of 37 constituencies.
The decision was reached after realising that although the scanned copies of the results from these 19 polling stations were approved by agents of both political parties, they were not verified by the presiding officers responsible for the polling stations.
