President-Elect of Rotary International (RIPE), Mario César Martins de Camargo, has reaffirmed the organization's commitment to working closely with the government of Ghana and key public institutions to advance national development.
Speaking during his official visit to Ghana-part of a broader tour of selected African countries on May 10, 2025-Camargo emphasized the importance of partnerships in achieving Rotary's mission of peace and community transformation. "One of the main purposes of this visit is to promote the concept of partnership-partnership between Rotary, the government, and public institutions such as hospitals, environmental agencies, and microeconomic development bodies.
These are areas of focus through which we can promote peace and sustainable development," he stated.
He highlighted Rotary's ongoing contributions to education and empowerment, noting that the organization has awarded scholarships to more than 2,000 students. "We have an agenda of positive actions," he added.
