Government Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has dismissed claims that only a few of the 25 promises made under Mahama's 120-day contract with the people of Ghana have been fulfilled.
Speaking in an interview on Eyewitness News on Citi FM on Wednesday May 7, Kwakye Ofosu insisted that the president has made substantial progress on all commitments outlined in the compact, and that Ghanaians will soon receive a detailed update. "It is not accurate to say only a few has been achieved," he stated, adding "In fact, in a few hours' time, the president will take to the airwaves to broadcast to the people of Ghana and in that broadcast he will give a full account of what he has done in each of the 25 promises that he made to the people of Ghana." He assured that the upcoming address will clearly demonstrate that Mahama has made meaningful strides on all fronts. "So when he does the broadcast it will become apparent that, contrary to the notion you just put out, he has indeed touched each and every one of these promises and significant progress has been made in that regard," Kwakye Ofosu added.
