A group of constituency organisers from the Greater Accra Regional branch of the (NDC) has voiced deep frustration over what they describe as a betrayal by party leadership and Members of Parliament in the region.

Speaking at a press conference, spokesperson Gad Nene Ackwerh said the organisers had played a critical role in securing a historic win for the party in the December 2024 elections.

Their efforts, he emphasised, led to an increase in parliamentary seats from 20 to 31 and a strong voter turnout for then-candidate John Dramani Mahama, who now serves as President.

According to Ackwerh, organisers were promised appointments, particularly in the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), as a reward for their work.
