An Accra Circuit Court has granted bail to four persons who were arrested for their alleged involvement in cocaine smuggling.

The four accused persons - Gariba Soli, Josiah Biney, Emmanuel Minta, and Kwabena Ampofo Anti - who have been charged with attempted exportation of narcotics without a license, conspiracy to commit a crime, and possession of narcotic drugs without lawful authority, have been granted bail totaling GH¢52 million.

Each individual was granted bail in the sum of GH¢13 million, with four sureties, when they appeared in court on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

The suspects were granted bail following an earlier court order that remanded them into the custody of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) for one week, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
