The Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr.
Victor Bampoe, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to providing free dialysis treatment for patients with end-stage renal failure, amid growing public concerns over the program's sustainability.
Speaking to the media during his working visit to the Ashanti Region, Dr.
Bampoe acknowledged the technical and operational challenges facing the initiative but stressed that these should not prevent patients from receiving the care they need. "There may be challenges, but if a patient requires dialysis and visits a facility, they must receive the care they need.
