Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Goldstars will discover their first-ever CAF Champions League opponent when the preliminary round draw is held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The event, scheduled for 12:00 local time (09:00 GMT) at Azam Media Studios, will be broadcast live on CAF's YouTube channel and through its television partners.
A record 62 clubs have entered the 2025/26 campaign, with Goldstars placed in Pot 2 alongside Dadjè FC of Benin, Burkina Faso's Rahimo FC, Colombe Sportive from Cameroon, AS Tempête (Central African Republic), Fundación Bata (Equatorial Guinea), AS Mangasport (Gabon), FC Fassell (Liberia), two Libyan representatives, Forces Armées (Niger), East End Lions (Sierra Leone), Real de Banjul (Gambia) and ASCK (Togo).
Teams in the same pot will avoid each other in the preliminary round.
