The Government of Ghana has appointed Dr Yakubu Seidu Adam as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH).
He is scheduled to officially assume office on Tuesday, 6th May 2025. "Dr Adam's appointment marks a significant milestone in the ongoing transformation of Ghana's premier tertiary healthcare institution.
With over two decades of dedicated service to Korle Bu, he brings a wealth of experience, clinical expertise, and visionary leadership to the role," an official statement from the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital announcing the appointment said.
A highly respected Consultant Eye Surgeon, Dr Adam joined KBTH in 2003 and has since distinguished himself in the subspecialty fields of glaucoma, cataract, and refractive surgery.
