President John Dramani Mahama is set to unveil a new Code of Conduct for all government appointees today, Monday, May 5, 2025, in what is seen as a key milestone in implementing his administration's 120-day Social Contract.

The upcoming launch was announced in a Facebook post on Sunday, May 4, 2025, by the Minister in Charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, who described the week as a crucial phase in the government's reform efforts.

Initially introduced during the swearing-in of ministers, the Code of Conduct is intended to establish clear ethical guidelines for public officials.

President Mahama has stressed that the code will remove any ambiguity by clearly defining the dos and don'ts of public service, thereby strengthening the administration's stance on integrity.
