Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, says her office has achieved 85% of its streetlight restoration target despite major setbacks, including cable theft and budget shortfalls.
Speaking on Sunday Breakfast on Channel One TV, the Minister said her 50-day pledge to fix 70% of streetlights across the capital had not only been met but exceeded, with over 150 streets lit so far. "I think within the 50 days I met my target.
I think we lighted 128 streets, and again we've done about 30 streets in addition.
So we are almost 85% through per my assessment," she said.
