The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has urged calm and restraint within the party as internal tensions escalate following the party's electoral performance.

His appeal comes in the wake of a public clash between former presidential aspirant Kennedy Agyapong and Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, during the party's 'Thank You Tour' in the Bono Region.

The tension escalated during the party's 'Thank You Tour' in the Bono Region, where Abronye DC criticised Agyapong for allegedly portraying himself as the party's primary financier while failing to acknowledge the benefits he has received.

Abronye DC accused Agyapong of being selfish and greedy, claiming that he frequently highlights his contributions to the NPP but does not disclose the privileges he has gained.
