Entertainment journalist, Edem Mensah Tsotorme has commended the thorough research underpinning the Black Star Experience, describing it as a well-thought-out initiative that could significantly boost Ghana's cultural and global brand positioning.

Speaking on The Chat on Channel One TV on Saturday, May 3, Tsotorme revealed that he had personally attended a presentation by the initiative's proponents and was impressed by the depth of research and strategic planning involved. "I have had the privilege of being in a meeting where the proponents of the Black Star Experience shared their research and clearly you could see that it is really well-thought-out," he said.

According to him, the team behind the Black Star Experience studied how about 20 countries have successfully implemented nation branding strategies and tailored their proposal to reflect Ghana's unique strengths and identity.

Tsotorme noted that the initiative aims to create a cultural movement that incorporates music, cuisine, heritage, cinema, literature, and aesthetics-anchored on seven thematic pillars-to reposition Ghana as a premier destination for tourism, trade, and investment.
