Supporters of NPP presidential hopeful Ken Ohene Agyapong have slammed recent comments made by Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye, describing them as divisive and damaging to party unity.

In a strongly-worded statement, they said, "Abronye's remarks are regrettable and disappointing.

They do not reflect the spirit of unity we need in the NPP right now." The press release follows Abronye's appearance on Wontumi Radio on Friday, May 2, where he took aim at Ken Agyapong in a manner many have deemed unmeasured and inciting. "We've forgiven him," the statement read. "But as a party grounded in democracy, we must be careful with the words we use, especially when addressing fellow members." Ken's camp believes that continued internal attacks only hand the opposition an advantage. "Our actual political opponent is not within our party. "If we want to win in 2028, our energy must go toward defeating the NDC-not each other." They urged supporters to remain calm and avoid retaliating, emphasizing a commitment to peace, discipline, and unity. "We're calling on all supporters to stand down.

Ken won't respond in kind-we won't feed the chaos."
