The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jr., has described former President as the only leader from the Danquah-Busia tradition who, in his view, won an election freely and fairly.

He made this assertion while commenting on the ongoing (NPP) nationwide "Thank You Tour" during an appearance on Metro TV on April 29, 2025.

According to him, the tour, which appears to be stirring a lot of controversy, may not achieve the reconciliatory effect for which it was intended.
