President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Henry Herbert Malm as the Acting Director of the National Theatre of Ghana, following the retirement of Amy Appiah Frimpong in December 2024.

Malm, an experienced communications and media professional, brings a rich background to the role, having previously served as Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability at Unilever Ghana PLC.

His appointment signals a new direction for the National Theatre, with expectations of enhanced public engagement and a revitalized vision for the institution.The National Theatre of Ghana, a key agency under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, plays a vital role in preserving, promoting, and developing Ghana's cultural heritage through the Performing Arts.
