The Ghana Bar Association (GBA) has called on the President of the Republic, John Mahama, to immediately make public the full decision that establishes a prima facie case against the Chief Justice.

This appeal follows the recent suspension of the Chief Justice, a move that has generated widespread public interest and debate within legal and political circles.

In a press statement issued shortly after the announcement of the suspension, the GBA stressed the importance of transparency and due process in handling such a significant constitutional matter. "The Ghana Bar Association calls upon the President of the Republic of Ghana to immediately release the full decision establishing a prima facie case against the Chief Justice, consistent with established precedent," the statement read.

The association argued that the disclosure of the full decision is vital to maintaining public confidence in the integrity of the constitutional process.
