The United Kingdom has deported 43 individuals to Ghana and Nigeria as part of its intensified immigration efforts under the "Plan for Change" strategy.

The group included failed asylum seekers, former prisoners, and some who returned voluntarily.

This marks the second such operation since the current government took office, bringing total returns to Ghana and Nigeria to 87.

UK officials say the deportations reflect stronger partnerships with both countries to combat irregular migration. "This flight demonstrates how international partnerships deliver on working people's priorities for swift returns and secure borders," said Angela Eagle, Minister for Border Security and Asylum.
