The NLA Good Causes Foundation has commissioned a three-unit classroom block constructed for the Akanteng Methodist Primary and Junior High School in the Eastern Region.
The facility includes a headmistress's office, a staff standard room, a kitchen, a storeroom, eight washrooms, a mechanized borehole, and a Polytank.
The National Coordinator of the NLA Good Causes Foundation, Kadiri Abdul Rauf Issifu, commissioned the project on behalf of the Director-General of NLA, Mohammed Abdul Salam.
He was joined by the Chief of Akanteng, Barima Appiah Darkwa III, the MP for Lower West Akim, Owen Kwame Frimpong, the Municipal Chief Executive for the area, Paulina Akabila, some local authorities and education officials.
