A Forty-Eight-year-old pastor has been remanded into Police custody by the Asante Akropong Circuit court in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti region for allegedly publishing falsehoods about the founder of the Philadelphia Church, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah.
at Achiase against Emmanuel Boachie pleaded not guilty to the charges of publication of false news, offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace.
He will reappear before the court, presided over by Mrs Gloria Mensah Bonsu, on April 30, 2025.
The facts of the case, as presented by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mr Albert Asagre, are that Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, the Founder and Overseer of the Believers Worship Centre - Philadelphia at Kumasi Kenyasi, was the complainant in the case.
