A legal practitioner and political analyst, Kwame Jantuah, has called for decisive action in the fight against illegal mining (galamsey), starting with the exposure of politicians involved in the practice.

He also called for the revocation of licenses of mining firms allegedly supporting galamsey activities, especially within forest reserves. "Whether it's the NDC, NPP, CPP, or PNC, any politician found to be complicit must be exposed.
